on Caring for Your Pets

The Holistic Health for Animals Association,
a Limited Liability Company (LLC)

For the Education, Health and
Welfare of Animals and their Owners

HHFAA is invested in the 'inclusive healthcare for animals and of all practices and methods of health assistance, treatments, and therapies that are intended to prevent animal health imbalance, and decrease symptoms as they manifest in an animal. Animal health unique and individualized. All choices of assistance depend upon the education and responsibility of the owner. Therefore HHFAA plans to gather and present 'choices' regarding information, practices, and animal health facilitators that can assist an animal in it's health maintenance and correction if required.

Health of animals depends upon the care given by their guardians. Therefore holistic education is mandatory.

Holistic Health (and Authentic Health) care is an umbrella that includes many different disciplines.

Holistic Health care means that you are a person that is responsible for the 'whole picture' of healthcare for animals - the environment, wellness vs. disease patterns, the relationship of pet with owner, stress in the home and/or animal guardian-and following and developing a treatment regimen that uses a wide range of therapies for assisting the animal to heal itself.

It is the responsibility of an animal guardian to be educated and informed; then to pursue different and perhaps multiple choices offered in maintaining the health of their animals. As Sonya Fitzpatrick says on Animal Planet®, 'Animals are Forever.'

If you are an animal owner, then you are responsible for healthcare for animals forever.

Animals are Teachers. Animals are Healers. Are you, the human, ready to listen?

Often healthcare for animals depends upon the area of an animal being a reflection to their human guardian's health conditions, emotions, behaviors, etc. They are often messengers that are trying to tell you something.

Holistic Health is the big picture for healthcare for animals. The Holistic viewpoint includes many practices. An animal guardian has to consider that his/her animals are not able to use words to express themselves. Their breed and natural history has been to live in the woods. Their ancestors lived abundant lives in a natural environment. They did not eat processed, irradiated, unfit foods. They did not get 'shot up' by vaccines and over medicated. The process of domestication has been hard on animal health.

There are the formal branches of holistic health care therapies that can effectively benefit traditional methods and/or they are practiced on their own , such as:

               Often considered the formal therapies

Nutrition
"A growing number of vets are stating that processed pet food is the main cause of illness and premature death in the modern dog and cat."
Homeopathy
Acupuncture
Chiropractic
Herbal

There are also many other beneficial therapies such as:

Bach Remedies
Flower Essences
Kinesiology Diagnosis
Energy Therapies such as Reiki
Massage Therapies such as TTouch
Medical Intuitiveness and Animal Communication are fields that are gaining respect as a very beneficial diagnostic and therapeutic tool.

Fortunately there are many more therapies that are evolving in the aide of our animals.

Animals experience emotions and feelings just as we, humans. Therefore many therapies that can improve an animal's quality of life must be considered. Once again an animal guardian is not able to depend upon verbal communication. Therefore it is the animal guardian who must become adept in observing and diagnosing their pet's health.

Animals have been domesticated and live under the 'rules' of human consciousness. Therefore Authentic Health for animals often considers what a breed or species' natural life was in the wild. After all their body organs such as in the digestive system have been naturally developed to live in the wild.

The artificial and 'non human' foods that animals are often fed do effect their health a great deal.

The ' overuse' of multiple vaccines and inoculations are greatly being considered by many traditional and holistic veterianarians as non beneficial to animal health.

Perhaps a more 'natural rearing' health protocol for your pets may be something you wish to consider.

Humans have to be involved with Holistic Health (and Authentic Health) care in order that they be able to give their animals their highest quality of life.
